The Montgomery Large Dog Kennel – 8ft - Insulated

All of our Dog Kennels, include the following:

• Pressure-treated 45x70mm tanalised framework that protects from rot, insect attack and decay
• 16mm tanalised and pressure-treated tongue and groove shiplap cladding
• Structurally sound 45x70mm roof beams 
• Onduline roofing as standard (15 Year Lifespan) 
• 2 pad bolts per door
• Tanalised pressure-treated tongue and groove floor built on a strong 45x45mm frame
• All Panels are screwed together not nailed

The Montgomery large dog kennel is our top of the range kennel and caters for serious dog owners whether they have gun dogs or simply need somewhere substantial to keep their dogs.

This unit comes in a variety of sizes from 8ft to 12ft long on the front wall to a depth of 4ft to 6ft. As always, everything is built here in the UK in our Kent workshop, if you have a slightly different specification in mind please do get in contact. A large percentage of our work is bespoke which is great if you are spending a lot of time searching but not quite finding what you’re looking for.

All our units from the smallest to this top of the range kennel are built using tanalised timber, this not only provides great protection against the mostly unpredictable British weather and rot but also creates a strong barrier against insects and vermin.

The roof of the dog kennel is made from durable Onduline which has an expected lifespan of well in excess of 15 years before it may look like it needs replacing.

There are also additional optional extras such as a stable door into the sleeping area along with insulated walls and a wipe clean stockboard floor.

Being our top of the range kennel, this has galvanised bars instead of the usual strong galvanised wire we use. Then you have access to either the sleeping quarters or the main run area via a large door to each, along with an internal (chew proof) pophole door which can be raised and lowered from the outside if you need to close your dogs off into one particular area.

All in all this is an exceptionally strong and very large dog kennel, built and designed to outlast the worst your dogs or even the UK weather can throw at it.
