Requirements prior to order:
All items are built to the specifications as detailed on this website. should you require any modifications, adjustments or alterations, contact must be made by email prior to order.
All dog kennels and rabbit housing require a solid base to be in place prior to installation. Where installation is included please ensure there is suitable access for your product before ordering, as we will not enter through the property.
Where installation is included in your order, you agree to accept that you need to provide ample parking for our drivers in large vehicles, often long wheel base commercial vans.
Where delivery by courier has been agreed, there needs to be suitable access for the courier to deliver a pallet.
It is the customer’s liability to ensure that suitable access and space is available upon delivery.
The customer makes their order in full knowledge that any advice given about a product is merely guidance.
All prices online are the cost to the customer of the product – no discounts are available.
Lead Times:
Minimum lead time is 4 weeks with no exceptions. This lead time is purely for guidance and a more accurate delivery date will be provided by us when available. Where your product is being painted extra build time will need to be taken into consideration.
All orders are built to order. We do not carry stock.
Upon delivery we will:
Take photographs of the products and the ground we are laying on upon our arrival and also take pictures once your product is in situ.
Require all products to be signed for on delivery by the customer who made the original order and is named on all order documentation.
All housing as standard is delivered and built by our own drivers, working in this manner we can assure all of our products are built to the exact same standard as they were in the workshop.
We may use third-party couriers to deliver your order. Orders that have the appearance of damage or tampering should be refused at the point of delivery. If you accept the items it confirms receipt in good condition.
We do not agree to make amendments or adjustments after delivery and installation.
You will be deemed to have accepted our product upon installation or when
You have told us/signed for your delivery
You have altered the item in any way
Parking and access:
Where installation is included in the order, liability lies with the customer to ensure that there is ample parking for a long wheel base van and suitable access to the installation area.
If your order is delivered by courier (most are on pallets), there needs to be suitable access for courier.
Late delivery due to circumstances outside of our control will not warrant a claim for any form of compensation, including refund.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before commencement of the build.
In cases where a deposit is paid, all deposits are non-refundable and payments are to be completed before commencement of the build.
At Cherry Acres Animal Housing we endeavour to provide all of our customers with high quality products.
Your right to cancel:
Your right to cancel is governed by the distance selling regulations.
As all our products are made to order, no refunds will be given for cancelled orders after the 14 day cooling off period. All requests for a refund must be made in writing within 14 days of placing the order.
For hygiene reasons, no refunds will be given for returns of products that show any signs of use or damage.
Fault or damage:
If you do receive housing and it is faulty in any way we will:
Where possible, seek to fix it in situ there and then for you.
Where this is deemed not possible by our driver, and depending on the fault, we will either offer a full refund or replacement.
Please note that an item is not deemed faulty where:
There is general wear and tear, accidental damage or mistreatment of the product by the customer.
Repair or replacement:
As all items are built to order we cannot replace any items bought
We will repair any items are deemed faulty within 6 months. The item will be subject to inspection and we politely request photographic evidence of any claimed fault.
If we prove that in fact there is no fault we will not be subject to deliver any repair to the item.

Please be aware that bespoke products are non-refundable.
Please note: we will refund the price of the item to the purchaser once it is received by us. A refund of the original delivery charge and the charges for returning the item to us will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods when all the items are returned.
All timber used for our products also comes with a 2 year guarantee against rot.
All prices include UK VAT at 20%
