Our mobile field shelters are built to the same high standard as all our other types of animal housing.
Materials Used:
- Pressure-treated 45x70 mm tanalised framework protects from rot, insect attack and decay
- Lined with strong OSB sheeting inside, providing strength, durability and insulation
- 16mm tantalised shiplap cladding
- Solid 20mm OSB Floor on a 45x70 mm tanalised subframe.
- Onduline roofing (15 Year Lifespan).
Each field shelter comes with a fold-away bed for easy cleaning and the classic style and solid stable door with tie-backs.
We currently have four sizes of field shelter available. 5ft x 8ft, 8ft x 8ft, 10ft x 10ft and 12ft x 12ft. All sizes have a 2ft canopy over the front and come with skids underneath to make them easy to tow across rough ground. The roof height is approximately 6ft at the eaves, rising to approximately 8ft at the apex.
Our mobile field shelters are suitable for Goats, Alpacas, Ponies, Donkeys and many other animals. We are proud to know that there are being used to keep pygmy goats, shetland ponies, prize ewes and many others dry and happy in our changeable British weather!
